Based on Forest Road, Newport, Albany Vehicle Services is the only garage on the Isle of Wight where the customer can be the mechanic.
AVS provides a fully tooled bay on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis. There are 3 bays in total, one with a 2.5 ton lift, and one “Off car” workstation.
Charges are for bay hire only, so tool hire is free of charge, and after the first hour, time is charged in 15 minute blocks – not rounded-up to the nearest hour.
Free access to basic tools is supplied with every rental. If you need specialist tools, please bring your own or contact us to discuss your needs - we may be able to get the tool you need.
This service is intended only for those people who feel confident in carrying out repairs, services or modifications to their vehicles.
